Jim Like
Jim exercises executive oversight over both management and labor operations. Initially joining CCI in 2012 as a regional manager, he brought with him a wealth of experience in industrial contracting and self-perform work. Over his career, Jim has been responsible for supervising and managing labor relations, implementing a comprehensive company-wide safety program, and playing a key role in establishing risk management practices and lean manufacturing processes. With four decades of experience in the construction industry, Jim is a seasoned leader skilled in managing risk, controlling costs, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product to clients. He has served as the past president of the Associated General Contractors of Michigan (AGC) and currently holds the position of co-chairman of the AGC Labor Relations Division. Additionally, Jim is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a pension trustee for the Carpenters and Cement Masons, is a member of the Lawrence Technological University Civil Engineering Advisory Board, and sits on CCI’s board of directors.
